At Basic Concept we design the entire site layout in Adobe Photoshop and slice
it with ImageReady (giving each image a meaningful name). However, while many
graphic designers rely on Adobe ImageReady to produce the HTML layout they have
created in Photoshop, we build the HTML page manually, using up-to-date web
authoring techniques and your preferred W3C doctype.
The end result is a W3C compliant XHTML\CSS web page that you can work with.
Programmers and software engineers who subsequently need to integrate
server-side controls and dynamic content into this design, will not break the page
layout.
We will provide you with screenshot sketches of the design to show your client
and will change them according to your client's comments, or build new ones.
When your client is satisfied with the design layout, we will provide you with
the site scaffold. You will be able to easily integrate your web components into
the page including server side controls, client side elements, AJAX controls and
dynamic content, without breaking the page layout.
